State Emergency Service EOD units neutralize over 490,000 explosive objects since start of full-scale invasion
The State Emergency Service EOD units have neutralized more than 490,000 explosive objects, including 3,352 aerial bombs since the beginning of the full-scale invasion
Oleksandr Khorunzhyi, Press Officer of the State Emergency Service, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.
“Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the EOD units of the State Emergency Service have neutralized over 490,000 explosive objects, including 3,352 aerial bombs,” he said.
EOD specialists of the State Emergency Service have so conducted inspections covering approximately 129,000 hectares of territory.
“These are huge territories that our EOD specialists of the State Emergency Service have already covered. Explosive objects were located and neutralized accordingly,” added the Press Officer of the State Emergency Service.
Oleksandr Khorunzhyi also noted that the State Emergency Service EOD units primarily focus their efforts in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
