2026 sowing season to be 10-15% more expensive – Ukrainian Agri Council

The cost of the 2026 sowing campaign will increase by 10-15% compared to last year. Denys Marchuk, Deputy Chairman of the Ukrainian Agri Council, made this statement at the Media Center Ukraine.

“The challenging logistics situation is driving up additional insurance costs. As a result, producers will receive a lower price for their goods, impacting their financial readiness for spring planting. This is because both machinery and seeds are purchased in foreign currency,” he explained.

Marchuk added that this is occurring alongside falling prices within the domestic market.
