2024 admission campaign: Duration and this year’s updates

Come July 1st, all hopefuls can kick off their application process by registering their accounts on self-service application portal, the same method employed last year for admissions to higher education institutions. The applicant ranking lists will be disclosed no later than August 5th.

Andrii Vitrenko, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, disclosed the funding boost during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“Starting July 1st, applicants can initiate their applicant portal registration. One will serve as the primary tool for applying to higher education institutions, just like last year. The application and document submission window begins on July 19th, closing at 6:00 PM on July 31st. For those vying for creative disciplines requiring competitive assessments, creative contests for state-funded slots will run from July 3rd to 6:00 PM on July 10th, and for contract admissions, from July 3rd to 6:00 PM on July 25th,” Vitrenko stated.

He emphasized the publication of ranking lists of admitted candidates and eligible candidates by August 5th, with state-funded enrollees required to meet stipulated criteria by 6:00 PM on August 8th. August 10th is slated for state-funded admissions, while contract-based enrollments extend until October 31, 2024. The conclusion of this year’s admission campaign, including the deadline for incoming freshman students to submit their applications, is set for October 31, 2024.
