140 athletes to represent Ukraine at the 2024 Summer Olympics
The selection procedure for the 2024 Olympic Games in France has concluded, with 140 athletes set to represent Ukraine.
Vadym Guttsait, President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, announced the news during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.
“As of today, we have secured 124 licenses. These represent 140 athletes who will compete in the Olympic Games. Our selection process is complete, and Ukraine has 124 licenses,” Guttsait stated.
According to the President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, Ukraine will compete in almost all sports at the 2024 Olympics, except for team sports.
Notably, for the first time since Ukraine gained independence, the country’s national football team will participate in the Olympic Games.
