The third inter-parliamentary summit will be held in Riga this year – Ruslan Stefanchuk

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, in his speech at the 3rd International Forum of the International Crimea Platform Expert Network, said that the Ukrainian parliament is making every effort to ensure that the issue of Crimea does not disappear from the agenda, but remains a priority.

“The Ukrainian parliament is very involved in everything related to the Crimea Platform. Starting from the fact that we are leading a separate parliamentary track of the Crimean Platform, we are included in all groups related to defending justice for the Crimean Tatar people,” said the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada.

Ruslan Stefanchuk also stressed that the MPs also work with foreign partners on the issues of the occupied territories. Thus, this year, at the third inter-parliamentary summit to be held in Riga, the agenda will include the restoration of justice for the Crimean Tatar people.
